The OMACouncil is an independent, non-government, non-big-business, advisory and information service designed to bring accurate and complete information to the public. We look at life with an open mind and seek new ways to accomplish our goals - ways that serve everybody, not just the super-wealthy. We focus on political, economic, religious, and environmental issues in which the public is being mislead by inaccurate, or incomplete information.

The OMACouncil is made up of individuals and organizations who/that clearly perceive the numerous options, choices, and possibilities that are presently being ignored by those in control of our political and economic systems.

Our goals and our intentions are: 1) to bring these ignored choices and options to the attention of the public, 2) to prevent the politicians from continuing to ignore these choices and options, 3) to sponsor public discussions about these new ways of being and doing, and 4) to implement the changes that are, by consensus, seen to be in the public's long-term best interest.

The core of our proposed solutions focus on the peaceful redistribution of wealth and revolve around the creation and use of updated versions of the traditional non-profit foundation.

How to End the Home Foreclosure Crisis:

By using a network of independent,
non-government, non-big-business, non-profit foundations,
the home foreclosure crisis can be ended in less than six months.

Nobody else needs to lose their homes.

Presently, about 85 billion dollars per year in home-loan-profits goes into the vaults of the super-wealthy. Implementing our proposal will redirect that profit money into funding city and county governments.

Implementing our proposal will also stimulate the economy by redirecting home mortgage payments and putting billions of dollars into the pockets of the people each and every month.

As a result, millions of people will be back to work, the economy will be dramatically revitalized, and The American Dream of personal and financial freedom will be re-born at a new, higher, and more joy-filled level.

BUT . . . The politicians refuse to even consider

this simple, easy to implement option.

WHY:

*** Because the super-wealthy would lose their profits. They would have to give up their financial strangle hold on the working class people.

We (The OMACouncil) are about to end their refusal to hear our message. Join us in our common voice demanding that the non-profit foundation option be given open, honest, public discussions.

Why We Need the Open-Minded Advisory Council:

*** Because every aspect of human life on planet Earth is in the process of major transformation.

*** Because we are at choice to actively direct these changes or be at the effect of the present system of exploitation and its resultant environmental destruction.

*** Because those of us who speak the language of the future – the language of change – the language of positive, constructive change – are being ignored.

*** Because the human population is in serious danger from human-caused Global Climate Change.

*** Because, instead of cooperating, facing, addressing, and solving the problems, the politicians are still fighting over political power and control.

*** Because the votes of most politicians have been bought and paid for by the major corporations and other special interest groups whose only interest is money.

*** Because the people have been exploited and milked for money for so long that entire economic system is near the final stage of collapsing completely.

*** Because in order to solve the environmental problems, we must first face our financial problems.

We are desperately in need of major changes in our social, political, economic, religious, and environmental behaviors patterns. Those changes are not being promoted by our political, religious, and corporate leaders.

Why Aren't the Politicians Doing What Needs to be Done?

The Primary Reason for Their Refusal to Act is that the special interest people spend billions of dollars lobbying politicians and they contribute billions of dollars to political reelections campaigns. The bottom line is that politicians either vote for what the special interest people want or lose reelection funding.

What Do the Special Interest People Want? They Want short-term profits! Money is their main goals and, all-too-often, the only goals of those who have the capacity to buy political votes. That's not to blame anybody. It's the election system and the financial systems that are broken.

The people people who administer these systems for the special interest people not at fault, either. They are in a similar position to the politicians. They have a choice – create a short-term profit or look for another job.

The Basic Problem Is the huge conflicts of interest that arises whenever a person and/or a business must choose between making a higher profit and improving the quality of their product or service. The present banking system (2009) is an incredibly-destructive example of a system that is overwhelmed by conflicts of interest. **msc1

The entire financial system can be transformed with incredible ease and simplicity with the use of non-profit foundations. The question is not how to solve our financial problems. The solutions are readily available. The stumbling block is the willingness of the people in control to make the necessary changes. How can The Open-Minded Advisory Council bring About the Required Changes?

In the face of the present political and financial power of the major special interest groups, a single person's voice and even the voices of some highly influential organizations are overwhelmed, drowned out and all-too-ofter not heard at all. Hundreds of thousands of us are speaking out right now, but our individual voices are still not being acknowledged.

We Are Presently Ineffective Because the special interest groups have the financial clout to duplicate their messages, and then print or broadcast their messages to hundreds of millions of people. Those of us speaking common sense and change, reach a few, a few hundred, or a few thousand people. These huge differences in the number message-recipients is the major reason why the voices for constructive changes are not producing results.

Getting Our Voices Heard:

This problem will be resolved when we begin speaking with a collective voice. The public will be on the side of common sense and on the side of positive, constructive change as soon as they know that these positive options exist. First we invite you to realize that we are all in this together. Unless we face what the evidence tells us, billions of humans will die from the effects of Runaway Global Climate Change.

Second, we invite you to add your voice to the voice of the OMACouncil. In order to be heard, we must all speak together and focus on one single issue.
