Change Is Inevitable:

(2009)   Humanity is in the early to intermediate stages of major social, political, economic, religious, and environmental changes.   We can participate in guiding these changes or we can sit back and be at the effect of them.   

If we choose to participate, we'd be wise to let go of our false beliefs and examine the evidence that indicates how "The Universe" actually functions.   The TLC-Life-Center has several websites dealing with these issues.   On the Site Map Page, you'll find a list of links to TLC-Life-Center websites.   We encourage you to take some time later to examine these sites.   At the moment, lets focus on how change occurs and how we can flow with the universal energy instead of  (as our leaders are presently doing)  pushing against the flow.    

A simple, but commonly-ignored pieces of evidence is  the distinction between fixing what is and creating something new.   This distinction is examined below on this page in the context of the in-process, social evolution of humanity.  

What Doesn't Work:

The leaders of our present social structures are either struggling to maintain the status quo or they are attempting to fix what's broken.   Trying to hold on to the past is a futile  attempt to stop human evolution.   This refusal to evolve is at the core of what is presently called conservatism.   It's also a core goal of the multi-millionaire ego-athiests who run most of the world and whose only  interest is short -term profits at the expense of anything and everything.   

Those who call themselves progressive (liberal under a new name) are attempting to make changes in what already is.   They focus on treating symptoms and ignore root causes.  They  spend huge amounts of money supporting dysfunctional and all-but-dead social structures such as the present banking system.   They attempt to make changes from the top down.   That's like trying to push a chain.   It's like swimming up stream.   It's either impossible of it's incredible difficult.   As a result, those who attempt to fix our social problems rarely face, address, and remove a problem's root causes.

Here's Still Another Ignored Factor:

Fixing what is broken goes counter to Mother Nature.   Nature/Creator/God does not fix.   He/She/It creates.   For example, when the wind knocks a branch off a tree, the tree does not attempt to glue the branch back on.    It creates new branches or new trees.   Nature's creation process starts from the bottom -- from a single sell from or a collection of cells called a seed.   From these minute beginnings, Nature builds everything new.   Cells grow and divide.   They gather together in in mutual support groups called bodies (plants, animals, insects, et cetera).

What Does Work: 

The next step in human-social evolution is to take Nature's evolutionary cycle to the next level.   First, by becoming conscious that this powerful, natural cycle exists.   Second by applying it.   In order to take the next step along the path of building from the bottom up, our job is to join bodies (human beings) into new, grass-roots mutually-supporting social structures.   Like the cells of your body support each other, a few individuals (or hundreds or thousand of people) can combine their effort and create something new on this higher level.  

Let those of us who choose to do so, become cells in mutually-beneficial, collective, social structures. The proposed new structures are flexible, adjustable, build-to suit, variations of the present business model which we call the non-profit foundation.   Each cell becomes a co-creator in that it contributes time, effort and energy in building the new structure, and at the same time, each cell is a beneficiary.   It receives the benefits of the foundation.
